Who we are looking for

To support the growth of our Rome office, Syscons is looking for a SAP Functional Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be involved in projects for clients in the manufacturing and luxury sectors, with a particular focus on business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise organizations.

The role will primarily focus on SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) processes, working closely with functional, technical, and business teams on SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement projects. Experience with SAP SD and/or SAP MM is considered a strong advantage, as it will support the delivery of integrated supply chain, logistics, and order management processes.

 

Requirements

  • Around 3–4 years of experience with SAP PP, or more senior experience.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of SAP SD and/or SAP MM is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP customizing, testing, and application support.
  • Good command of English (B2 level).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business users and international stakeholders.

Skills to acquire

  • Analysis of production processes and collection of business requirements;
  • Functional support on SAP PP and integrated processes;
  • Preparation of technical specifications for potential ABAP development activities;
  • Customizing activities, testing, user support, and documentation;
  • Participation in SAP S/4HANA projects, fit-gap analysis, and process standardization initiatives;
  • Coordination with IT teams, key users, and international partners;
  • Support for enhancement activities, AMS services, and projects within complex manufacturing environments.
