Who we are looking for

For our Rome office, as part of the growth and expansion of our Compliance & Reporting division, we are looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer with experience in the development and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Azure platform

 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst and/or Data Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data architectures on Microsoft Azure, including data ingestion, ELT processes, and data storage.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data Lake Gen2 storage structures (Blob, CSV, JSON, Delta format).
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouse solutions on Azure Synapse (relational and tabular models).
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
  • Basic or advanced experience in designing reports and dashboards with Power BI and developing integrated Power Apps solutions.
  • Excellent command of English (C1 level).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, excellent planning abilities, and a results-oriented approach.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in designing analytical models, preferably using Machine Learning techniques.
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of Python and/or R.
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark.

Skills to acquire

  • Analyze clients' business needs, requirements, and existing data infrastructure.
  • Design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards.
  • Manage the technical relationship with clients, providing guidance and support throughout project delivery.
  • Act as a technical mentor for junior team members, sharing expertise on Microsoft technologies and promoting methodological best practices.
